Found the south wall button that closes the hole, but what do I need to do to open the door?

  • You need the Consult Stryx quest from Mustaf the Magician in Crymlyn Village.

  • He has not told me anything more than Sheets in the Ghoul building.

  • Do you have the Coat of Arms quest from Fershid in the Dreamers'' Tiwer?

  • I don’t think I have encountered Fershid.

  • The first thing you should always do is talk to the people in the guild, although they don't always form a guild. They usually all have important quests.

  • Found Stryx, but we have a monster enclosed totally by wall which I don’t see to be breakable.

  • Where are you that you sense this monster?

  • My guess is that's the Rat you would have encountered had you gone down the hole. I don't see any enclosed monsters in Alderley.

  • That's the Rat you could have killed had you gone down the hole. Nothing important.

    In the editor upstairs and down are all on the same level.

  • Can I reopen the hole? The rat is an issue as you can’t rest in the castle if it’s present.

  • No. You'd have to go back to an older save file.
