How do we convince Brian Clenchfist to join?
How do we get to the Smoke Dragon? I went as far east as I could in the caves. There are monsters on the east end, but I can't figure out how to get there.

For Clenchfist, you need the High Negotiation Ability and to bring him two pirate chests when he gives you that quest.
Smoke Dragon is in midwest. When you enter walk two paces north, three west, five north, three east, one south, two east, two south, one east, walk six paces south even though it looks like you've hit a chasm. It's not really a chasm, then turn west and you should be able to find him from there.
