I've finished everything in HoL 2 except for finding the "protocols of biomages". Can someone please give me an pointer / spoiler / hint?

Try a barrel near Tux1212 in Redshift U. : )
thank you Catacomber. Since I had gotten something from the barrel earlier in the game, I had not realized that it could end up with a new item in it later...
I'll have to consider another expansion pack now
Sorry, old thread but the barrel near Tux does not seem to hold anything anymore, the mana charger nor the book. I got the mana charger in SM, but the book is not there.
You can only get that book from the barrel if you have Princess Vasilisa's quest Three Books. If you do and there's no book, you already got it. It's not sellable.
I do have the quest and there is no book, playing on IOS, the mana charger did not spawn there either. I have the other two books and have been back to the Princess.
Oops just tried it and it worked, is the spawn of the book on a timer? I’ve played the game previously so I’m speed running.
No. Just depends on having the quest.
