Bug on Ghostly Boat?
I sent off the berserker then pressed the button on the wall. Nothing happened but I started getting hit with spells where the ladder is but can’t see anything and I can’t climb back up the ladder

It isn't a bug. It's just a very dangerous place.
Cast Stone Skin. Cast the spell Resist magic. Drink resist magic potions. Equip armor with fortify armor. Have high endurance.
I don't know what level you are but no one else has reported a problem and I checked it and there is nothing wrong, except for it being a very dangerous place as it is intended to be so it's not easy to kill the Ragnar Warrior.
Can you recall to a mark?
If you don't have mark and recall, can you go to an earlier save file.
But you need to have the spells Stone Skin and Resist Magic and Resist Magic potions. And you should be at least level 30 or so at that point.
It's not the last time you'll be in a situation like that. There are a lot of those areas.
There is nothing wrong with the ladder. I was able to go up and out without any problem.
Hi, restarted the game and I could climb the ladder. There’s a button on the wall next to the ladder that doesn’t seem to do anything? Unless I already pressed it 😹 I can hear minsters but can’t see any. I’ve dealt with the beserker :)

Those monsters are in an area nearby that you haven't been to yet.
You can't get there from where you are now.
