Can’t Find Dragon Captain

I finally got the ability to speak with dragons, but I can’t find the dragon captain. Without him I can’t get the egg to give to Fitz.

    I searched that location and the dragon is gone. I looked in my inventory an I have the Dragon’s Egg— it looks like a dark red coin. However, when I go back to select Flitz, he does not recognize that I have the egg. What am I missing?

    Never mind. I didn’t realize that the egg powered the flying machine.
