Kill the Ghosts

Please can you advise me what weapon I need to kill the ghosts in White Lady’s Wood?

This is my last quest and will have finished the Celtic Trilogy.

I am on level 72 and have purchased all Quest Expansions.

So far completed :-

Islands of Fire and Ice

HOL1&2

Macha’s Curse

Thor’s Hammer

Celtic Trilogy (until quest above).

Any recommendations as to what Quest to try next?

No special weapon. They're level 75 and fairly magic resistant. Just save and kill and save and kill. Magic resistance potions help.

I would recommend Basilisk's Eye or Mithril Horde II. But you should play Mithril Horde before Horde II so you have a feel for the story. You'd be overpowered but you could use your less powerful weapons. Play like a monk with a staff. : )

and these ghosts are the white flame looking things dotted around White Lady’s Wood?

If these are indeed the ghosts, striking them with any sword, mace or arrows doesn’t appear to inflict any damage

Those are white flame looking things. : ) Not ghosts. The ghosts have names like Snow Ghoul. There are three of them. Walk around and they will become visible.

I’ve walked around the wood area for nearly 10 mins and, apart from the white flames, nothing is moving.

Normally the my character’s movement stutters when enemies are near but this is not happening when in the woods.

Do you have a screenshot of what these ghosts look like?

Just wondering is they look like plants/trees around the area.

That quest is still active as when visit lady, she’s keeps telling me to kill the ghosts. Only problem is that none seem to be around. I wonder if it may be a bug because I have all the expansions installed

This is what they look like. There are three.

To give you an idea where the patches are that trigger their appearance, stand at Forest Jade's door.

For one patch, take two paces south and two west.

Go back to her door, for next patch, take two steps east and then six steps north and then one west.

for the third patch, go back to her door, take three steps south and five steps east.

If that doesn't work, you have a glitch.

Tried that but unfortunately, not working. Looks like I have a glitch. Never mind, I’ll move onto next Quest expansion

You could try disabling some of the expansions. You could reenable them later.
