Terminus key

I need help to get the key for Terminus/underground level 2.

I have both the rescue droid family and find the mayor quests. The droid in Droidtown tells me to get the key from a guard. I have tried all droids including the droid named guard in the west end of the longhouse and the closed door on the back of the house. I’ve searched the forum and found the hint to use stealth. I’ve tried with stealth 227, but still no key.

How do I find the key? Or is there another way to enter Terminus?

    Extra info: A search reveals, that I actually have the Key to Terminus in my inventory. But I can’t open the purple door in underground level 2. Isn’t that the door for Terminus, or have I gotten it all wrong?

    The door to Termnus is purple and the last one in the southwest of Level 2.

    Yes, we are talking about the same door. How come I can’t open it, although I have the Key to Terminus?

    There's no reason. It works for me. I just tested it.

    I have attached pictures of the key in my inventory and the locked message, when trying to open the door. Can you see anything wrong?

    That doesn't look like the door. I'm not at my computer right now but will check when I am. The door to Terminus is on the left not in the corridor. I think that's a different door. You haven't reached the door to Terminus yet.

    I think you need the Level 2 key for that door. That's not the door to Terminus.

    Thanks, Cat! I don’t know why I was so fixated on that door being the Terminus door. Solved!
