New character
Hello - I started a new character in Thors Hammer but when I started the game I started it as a new game and not part of my original character (which I completed hol5 with and is level 85). I plan to use this character to play through some more expansions after Thors hammer but how will I get back to the original quest map to get to the correct ports for more expansions? I haven’t made it that far yet with my character so I can start over if I need to

You're not playing in the standalone game right?
Start a new character by starting in the base game snd saving that new character in the port of Matras right in front of the sea captain. Then you can travel to the new expansion and back. But in every new expansion, there is always a way to get back to the captain who sent you there.
thank you, I did start the new character in the standalone game, I will start a new character in the base game but before I do that, will I be able to keep my high level character as well?

For the base game, yes. There are many save slots. I often keep different strengths of character for testing. I even email myself some save files I want to keep.
Yes, it worked, I was able to start a new game in the original quest, and create a new character to play Thors hammer while still having access to my original character through the save files. Now I just have to resist the temptation of using my lvl 85 Derth to avenge all these villains that are giving my new Nogur a hard time!
