Alternate Dimension and Magnetite
You can get to the Aleternate Dimension by visiting YadDaddy in the Iron Knob Mountains and asking him about Tax and then doing a favor for him. He reveals a teleporter to the east.
You can buy Magnetite from DetlevH in Meadow of the Sun but you might have to camp out for awhile for it to show up in his inventory.
