Appease the volcano spirits For Francis the Cleric, Fort Detritus, appease the volcano spirits by offering a sacrifice to them at the Flamekeepers’ Shrine. Bag of Gems For Fleecebottom the Surveyor, Lava Caves, Mt. Lisa, find his lost Bag of Gems. He thinks he set it down in the Great Lava Cave when he was last working there. Blue ring For Sea Nymph Blue, Haven Island, find her Blue Ring that she lost in her pool. Blue Stone For Petro Pete, Celestial Dew, bring the Blue Stone he gives you to Catacomber, Edna Crater Volcano Camp. Bomb Bag For Shamlock the Arsonist, Fort Detritus, bring him a new Bomb Bag. Ellie the Seamstress in Diego’s Watch Tower usually supplies him with such bags. Bring supplies For the Magic Eye, Haven Island, bring supplies to Old Shaman at the Eden Crater Volcano Camp in the north. He gives you a list: Bomb, Pulsating orb, Blue Hibonite, Golden Apple, Charged Mana Particles and a Chant of Protection. Bristlenose Eels For Admiral Gomez, Fort Detritus, destroy the Bristlenose Eels eating away at the foundation of the island. Chest of Silk For Wisteria Winsomely, Fort Detritus, cut a deal with Thomas the Tailor there. In return for a chest of silk, she will protect her store and patrons. Collect a map For Sam the Sailor, Pirates' stronghold, see him in his home in Diego's Watch Tower and collect a pirate treasure map as a reward for saving him. Collect treasure For Ophelia, owner of Ophelia’s Whimsies, Fort Detritus, explore the ruins of Ozaank located beneath Grenor Island to find the gem known as the Holy Gamsav. Collect treasure For Lester Highpockets, Fort Detritus, explore the waters beneath Fort Detritus and find the rare Green Diamond the pirate Princess of the Scarlet Seas was wearing when her ship was sunk by Admiral Gomez’s fleet years ago. It reportedly never was found. Commandeer a ship For Admiral Gomez, Fort Detritus, investigate a ship patrolling off the western shores of Fort Detritus that, word has it, is a pirate boat. If that’s true, commandeer it and steer it back to shore. Captain Tousle on the docks can take you out to the ship. Detonate a bomb For Pedsipec, Edna Crater Volcano Camp, detonate a bomb to clear the rock from above the magma chamber of Mt. Lisa. Fast Wing’s chick For Fast Wing, Fast Wing’s Chamber, Mt. Lisa, take her chick to the safety of the Magic Garden in Grenor Island in the west. Place her in the nest there. Find recruits For Diego, Diego’s Watch Tower, recruit two guards to protect his Watch Tower and a blacksmith. He gives you a list of possible candidates. He asks you for an acceptance letter from each. Forge a signature For Foul Lily the Forger, Thieves’ Guild, Fort Detritus, accurately copy the signature of King Mersant to a decree pardoning a notorious embezzler in Mithria. Fortify the foundation For Admiral Gomez, Fort Detritus, stabilize the foundation of the island by repairing the thin patches with reinforced wood planks. There are three spots that need fortification. Free the pirate's mother For Skip the Scrapper, Mt. Lisa, free his mother who is being held hostage by the pirates on Rogues' Reef. Gem Gui For Adrasta the Gem Collector, Pits of Abyssa, search the ruins of Zombaar near Eden Spring to find the red crystalline gem called the Great Gui. Gem Zorkin For the Sea Slider, Ruins of Narzaar, find her gem Zorkin. She lost it there somewhere. Give Memory color For Memory, La Rochelle, bring her ten Old Kings Folly Flowers and a bag of balloons. You should be able to pick the flowers at Celestial Dew and some taverners sell Bags of Balloons. Gnarled staff For Tsao the Wanderer, Kap Tamora, find his Gnarled Staff. He lost it somewhere in the fortress there. Gold Water Lilies For Jellyfish Moon, Pufferfish Cave, bring her some Gold Water Lilies that grow there and she will clear your path. Kill the pirate leaders For Diego, Diego's Watch Tower, who is hiding in a hollow tree on the island of Diego’s Watch Tower, kill the three pirate leaders who, along with their men, have invaded his Watch Tower. Kill Volcmar For Liz, Edna Crater Volcano Camp, kill the volcano spirit Volcmar, Fire Spirits' Abode, Mt. Lisa, who threatens the firebird Fast Wing. You will need a blade called Deep Freeze buried in the tomb of the Cold Knight on the island of La Rochelle. You can reach there from Tristram Island. Loom For Venus Flytrap the spider, Haven Island, persuade the tailor to give you a loom so she can make better use of her silk. Lost beer coaster For Mozart, Fort Detritus, find his gold inlaid beer coaster. He thinks he lost it on the diving ramp there. Lost pearls For Oddie, Depths of Angoise, find the eight black pearls that scattered there when his wife’s necklace was broken. Make peace For the Shrine Mistress, Flamekeepers’ Shrine, make peace between the Shrinekeepers and the Firewalkers. Take a token of friendship to Mandelman, chief of the Firewalker Camp in the east. Mermaid Fern For Symphonia the Herbalist, Fort Detritus, bring her five pieces of Mermaid Fern from Diego’s Watch Tower. Mine Iron Ore For Lemuel Longleg, Reef Velaya, mine him ten pieces of Iron Ore from the Mines. You’ll need his Big Chopper. Negotiate a deal For Farmer Hal, Celestial Dew, negotiate with Vince the Engineer, chief of the Irrigation Works, Eden Spring, for a fair price for vats of water. Old Moss For Vyazetta, the innkeeper, Diego’s Watch Tower, find her father Old Moss who went to the pirates’ hideout on Rogues' Reef to retrieve her mother’s pearls that were stolen by the pirates. Pearl Idol For the Lady of Pearls, Ruins of Nazaar, bring her the Pearl Idol for a reward. Persuade Fast Wing For Liz, Edna Crater Volcano Camp, persuade the firebird Fast Wing, who lives in the depths of Mt. Lisa, to help. You will need high Persuade skills and an offering of a Golden Apple. Pink Star Diamond For Catacomber, Edna Crater Volcano Camp, go to the Pirates’ stronghold in the southwest and steal the Pink Star Diamond the pirate Preacher Ames stole from her collection. Pirates and pewter For Easy Cecil, Thieves’ Guild, Fort Detritus, enter the abandoned house in the southeast of Fort Detritus, kill the pirates there and retrieve his fine dining pewter stolen by the pirates. Pirates' stronghold For Jeremiah the Bailiff, Diego’s Watch Tower, ask his friend Scutchey in the west of Diego’s Watch Tower to take you to the Rogues' Reef so you can find the pirates’ stronghold. Pollute the water For the Lady of the Well, Eden Spring, pollute the water of the spring. You'll need high dexterity to jump over the fence. Preacher Ames For Diego, Diego’s Watch Tower, kill the pirate boss Preacher Ames. He usually can be found on his boat but might be on the high seas. Prevent disaster For Merwin Embersleeve, Chief Engineer and Overseer of the Dwarven High Mining Expedition, Reef Velaya, do whatever it takes to neutralize the volcano Mt. Lisa, so their mining operations, the islands and their inhabitants, are not destroyed. Punch some holes For Petro Pete, Celestial Dew, punch some new holes in his belt buckle. You need good Strength. Recruit a cook For Jeremiah the Bailiff, Diego’s Watch Tower, recruit a cook so he can stop having to make his master’s meals. He thinks Sylvie of Celestial Dew might like the job as she has a romantic interest in him. Red Sea Lettuce For the Seaweed Witch, Maze of the Whispering Waves, bring her six pieces of Red Sea Lettuce from the Ruins of Ozaank. Reinforced planks For Dexter the Strongman, Fort Detritus, bring Vernon the Island Engineer reinforced planks so he may repair the broken bridge from Fort Detritus to Diego’s Watch Tower. He wants a receipt for delivery of the planks. Royal Jelly For the Jellyfish, Blue's Pool, bring her some Royal Jelly. Seal the vent For the Crystal Witch, Reef Velaya, seal the vent in the Mines that is allowing sulfur fumes to creep into her lair. Seek out the dressmaker For Delca the Diva, Ruins of Mazashaam, below the Edna Crater Volcano Camp, find Myra the Dressmaker on Tristram Island and ask her for a long, flowery frock. Share the treasure For Sam the Sailor, Diego's Watch Tower, use the treasure map he gives you to find Captain Spike Sheridan’s treasure hidden on Grenor Island and share half with him. Silver Cutlass For Skip the Scrapper, Mt. Lisa, bring him his Silver Cutlass. His mother has had it in safe-keeping for him. Skip the Scrapper For Honx, Edna Crater Volcano Camp, persuade the pirate Skip the Scrapper to help the vulcanologists rather than preventing them from doing their work. Steal back a hammer For the Nameless Thief, Celestial Dew, find the ogre Gnosher and steal back the Ogre Hammer that he stole from him. He may only be around at night. Stolen pearls For Old Moss, Diego's Watch Tower, search the pirates' stronghold on Rogues' Reef and find his wife's stolen sack of pearls. Stop the pollution For Farmer Hal, Celestial Dew, find out who is polluting his wells and deal with them. Sulfur and Saltpeter For Arvan the Alchemist, Flamekeepers’ Shrine, bring him powdered Sulfur and Saltpeter. Powdered Sulfur can be purchased in shops and you can scrape Saltpeter off the walls of Gloomy Cave, Grenor Island. Trigger an explosion For Old Shaman, Edna Crater Volcano Camp, trigger an explosion that will turn Mt. Lisa into an inactive caldera. Follow his instructions carefully. Sunken City of Samaak — below Haven Island Zombaar — below Reef Velaya Old Shaman’s instructions: Check with the scanner to make sure you have all the supplies needed. Speak with Liz, Pedsipec and Honx for further instructions. Liz will help you persuade Fast Wing the firebird to aid in exploding the volcano. Pedsipec will instruct you what you have to do to detonate the bomb at the crater to blow off the top level of rock and debris over the magma chamber. Honx will instruct you how to activate the two Magic Shields on Mt. Lisa to protect you and the islanders from harm during the explosion. Once you have persuaded Fast Wing to drop the orb into the magma chamber, activated the Magic Shields and blown off the top level of rock from the magma chamber, you can give Fast Wing the signal to drop the Pulsating Orb into the volcano.
