First of all,I did yhis quest before with my other char, no probems.

But now, Maks wont speak to me.

I did the temple of mokosh before getting the quest an have the letter needed already.

But Maks wont speak to me (he only cries about his brother), the prison gate to Dara is closed, so Im completly stucked.

Any solution ? Or can the Cave of Revenge be resetted ?

I think you have to talk to Maks before you kill the Mokosh otherwise you wont have anything for him to make a deal.

Killing Mokosh shouldn't have anything to do with it. Is your persuade over 65? Did you talk to Dara?

I cant talk to Dara cause the prison door is closed and cant be opened.

Persuade is roundabout 100

The prison has a crackable wall on the other side if you hit it with your weapon but you have to go around to the other side. Unless Sylon put a decoration on that wall (which is what is causing some of the iphone glitches) you should be able to get in there. It was a safety catch I put in.

Ok, so where is her bloody sister in the fortress, tapped on every door but can't find her. I've finished the xpac, just tying up loose quests

She's not in the fortress.
You need to head up north west (just south west of temple of mokosh)

Benn to the cavern of revenge, and already rescued dara. Need to find her sister to let her now.

Need to find Dea Firstianty, according to the quest log, shes in the fortress...but cant find her in the fortress...

If you've done the end game or are near or in the end game, her door is locked because people would not normally be out in a civil war. : ) I'll double check this tonight--can't right now.

Crap, yeah, have finished the game....I knew I should have found her before finishing the game....

You mean you want her door unlocked? I'll ask Elendil to do it in next update. : )

yes please, i know civil war is happening and she wants to get out and save her life, but i just wanna close her quest

Elendil changed it so now her door stays open. : ) So next update.

According to itunes the update (4.4) is out for HOL1, does this update have the aformentioned request?

Just in the changelog it doesnt mention it....

Just checked, it does have this 'update', coolio! now my log is all clear, no un-solved quests

so not all changes are reflected in the itunes changelog then

Only the edits that Elendil decides are most important to tell people about are put there.

I have tapped every wall with my weapon but still cant get in there. I spoke to maks and got the quest then spoke again and gave him the letter but the doors still wont open and no walls will crack - found a drain but that just lets me out a different drain...

You have to hit a wall. This was before I made the tappable/hittable walls a different color to make it easier. But if you go north and then east and then south and follow to a drain and when you're facing the open drain, hit the wall to your right, you should get in there. : ) Welcome. : )

I hit it, slapped it, smashed it with a sword, shot at it with a bow, hit it with a the redshift hammer......everything short of putting on a gimp suit and grabbing a studded paddle but I still cant get in there......


Solovey is giving me grief too. It seems like I always come unstuck if for some reason I get the quest item before the quest.....

I wandered into that temple before finding either Maks or Solovey and as any good Hero would do I slaughtered everything in sight before stopping to ask questions....

So Maks was a little weird but at least he accepted the letter once I had spoken to him and gotten the quest..still cant get in the cell though

Solovey doesn't want to know me now...He gave me the quest - I even went back through the temple and killed them all again but when I go back he only talks about Nifont - doesnt answer if I ask about the mushroom.

Zoya already gave me the shroom I think because I handed it in to Borovik and convinced him to help already.......

Needless to say I am a tad confused....is there something I am missing?

Edit: Escue Dara done - just went to woman in Zlatograd and she gave me the reward and completed quest....

Now I just have to work out solovey

Did you bring Solovey both the mokosh arrows and Kozlodoy's skull? Does he say anything about his secretary?

yes I brought them both, he wouldn't say anything

I eventually reverted back to a save from a long way back - the one I made where I killed Norbert instead of letting him live - I wanted to let him live but was ok with him dying if it meant I didn't have to start right from the beginning again

This time around I made sure to visit both Solovey & Mak before I went anywhere near Morokosh and it worked fine. I am guessing it was a corrupt save game o something.

I am on to HoL2 now.....doing ok so far........have done the "find a cure" quest with a different toon before because I caught hades itch when i came for a quick explore - I was trying to "quickly find a cure" so I could get back to the original quest game - but by the time I had it my little dude was so unbalanced the game wasn't fun - so I started over right from the very beginning and this time I am just aimlessly wandering around in HoL2....its much better when you don't have to run from every fight for fear of stuffing up your character (which ended up happening anyway)
