I've really enjoyed the Quest and it's expansions. Have completed HOL 1 and am now collecting treasure in the Treasury. There's a locked door to the Sponge room there - does anyone know how to get in there (or if it's even possible?). Thanks!

Thank you Cat. Just tying up the loose ends before I embark on HOL II and the other expansions. I play on the iPhone but would love to see the games ported to the iPad (without losing your character, if possible!)

You can play the games on ipad and I've gotten wonderful reports-but so far you can't port your save file.

Email Elendil and petition. : ) It's not his fault--I think apple is going to have to come up with someway for people to port their saves without having to jailbreak their iphone/ipod. But it's probably on the back burner.

Character porting between iPhone/iPad platforms would be nice (and we all tend to get very attached to them). But the games also allow you to generate a new standalone character in each expansion. The benefit of that is Like trying on a new pair of shoes! More specifically, old characters tend to get too strong, while new ones start at an appropriately challenging level. All in all, not a biggie for me, but understand why others would feel strongly otherwise.

I think it's fun to try a new character. : )

But I also realize people get attached to their belongings. : )

It's like the worn, favorite high-heeled shoes in the closet. They are so attractively high and we sway so wonderfully in them.

But it would be nice to try something different. : ) Flats can be fashionable too. : )
