First off, Hi everyone! Im very near the end of HOL1 and I cant for the life of me find this Argimons Dungeon everyones talking about. Can someone please point me in the right direction before I put the game down.

And also let me say that I didnt get across from Fisher Island to see those Cameleons. Ive made it to level 34 but cant get the necklace for the old lady out of cave with spider in it. Its just not there...

The other - you need to slip on some rocks at the edge of a cliff type area and you'll find what you are looking for down there.

I did it over and again, and it just wasnt there.. I just went back to the saved game when I first came to Fisher island and there it was. Cant tell what happened, but it would have been much easier for me with those weapons the Magic School gives!! After I beat Glom and his wuss cronies inside the Castle and the words come up, Im guessing the game is really over, so it doesnt matter. I would have liked to kick butt in that Dungeon though.

Dint forget to go back to the Tzar and get the key to the vault in the middle of the fortress!

You can still do Agrimon's dungeon!

I got all the jewels from there. Was there any secret rooms? I thought he mentioned weapons, not jewels

Also how can I do dungeon if I can't get to that island? Without that necklace I'm stuck. I think. ??

I'm not sure about the weapons, but try the 'travel agent' woman in Dookh village. She'll send you to the island once. 'Mark' a spot there.

I tried that flyer lady in dhooka village and that island wasn't an option.

I'm a little confused. You can't get back to the island in your current save? The only way is to do the quest for Baba Manya and then she sets the bridge visible. To get to Argimon's dungeon you have to talk to Argimon and he'll send you on a quest there. I'm trapped in there and have a nice reward for you. There are other rewards in there too. : )

Correct. I have almost finished HOL1. I'm at level 34 now and have been trying to get to this magic school and dungeon the whole time. I tried many times to go back and see if that necklace regenerates, but so far it hasn't. Any other way to get to that island?
I went back to the first save at the tunnel and went into cave and there was necklace. Just cant see doing the entire HOL1 over.

You don't have to do the entire HOLI over. Just from that old save file go to the magic school and Argimon's dungeon and possibly, possibly, if you could find it in your heroic, courageous, magnificent heart, RESCUE ME!

Otherwise you will have many chances in other expansions.

But I can't imagine anyone playing HOLI and not playing Argimon's dungeon. ! It gives you a feel for his future dungeons for one thing. He is a really good dungeon master--his best is in HOLV which is yet to come to iphone but is coming soon. : )

To get to Argimon's dungeon you have to do Baba Manya's quest--you can find the locket on the bones of the poor guys' remains near where you fought the spider.

Giver her the locket and she sets the path to the Magic School visible.

Go to the Magic School and talk to Argimon--he sends you to his dungeon.

It's a must do if you like dungeon fun. : ) It's not the last time you'll encounter his dungeons. His best in my opinion is in HOLV, yet to be released on iphone. His dungeon in HOLIV is wonderful too. : ) And Mad Dwarves Castle in HOLII was great. : )

But, ahhhhh, his dungeon in HOLV........... : )

That was certainly worth the effort, but I think it would make the rest of HOL1 easier with the Shield O 9 lives, and Argimons plate mail. I had nothing like that just Mucky stuff.

I had to. I tried to sidestep and run, but ended up, I had to put several gashes into his hide. He just didnt know when to back off, ya know?

My problem is when I get reward for quest I lose fame so I have not turned in the item ...

What am I missing by not completing this quest?

Is this a MUST DO quest?

If you could possibly forget about the value of the object you get for going there and concentrate on the great puzzles you get in his dungeon, you are in a better position.

F.e., I'm stuck in his dungeon -- did you rescue me?

There are a lot of great puzzles there. Sometimes it's not the end of the journey but the journey itself that counts. You appear to me to be a person who doesn't value the journey.

You might lose fame if you killed his pet Dragon--you have to understand Argimon's fondness for his pet and that maybe more than one outcome is possible.

Not sure if the "doesn't value journey" refers to me ... If so, I do value the journey, that's why I solved the dungeon, killed the pet, not sure if I had an option there, grabbed all he loot, but didn't want to suffer the loss of fame so never "redeemed" my dungeon cap.

Still wondering if this is a MUST complete quest???

uum, i am having problems, ive found cat (thx for the shield) and have killed Norbert (rest in piece) and i have collected the cap. What am i meant to do know, cos i am aimlessly walking around. Ive already done this dungeon before and i think argimon is meant to speak to me. Not sure though any help would be nice.

Oh yeah just want to say i am loving this game and its expansions, it is brilliant. Good job to whoever help create it, i still have to play HOL IV, V, and asteroids looking forwards to it though.

!!!!!!(Edit) Nevermind, i found an exit. Silly me. I thought it was blocked, and i thought i already looked.

If you wish to complete this one ... You need to go back to the school of magic and talk to him with the cap in your inventory ... He takes the cap and gives you a couple of swords ... None of which I find useful ... You also lose Fame if you killed his pet ... Which I did ...

And I am a bit quirky in that I do not complete quests that result in a loss of Fame ... Weird but that me ... LOL

Anyway ... I never completed this quest and as you can see above ... It is NOT a must complete quest for e game.

When I killed Nortberg, he drops book, that helps solving that switches. I'm talking about 13 switches, that are behind Nortberg

Ok. try 0+1=1, 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8, 5+8=13. It's a bog standard fibonacci series. Go look it up on the web.

Yes! I understood it by myself! It wasnt so hard! I've done all numbers to F(30), but I still don't know wat's the combination is!

OK. Make sure all switches are in up position to start with. Then, in the following order flip switches down. 1,2,3,5,8,13.. Be good and tell me that works for you. Please. Else I don't know how to help.

How do you get to Norbert? ive found the purp and red dragon key but there are still 2 doors locked
one of them is a door that gives you plaque when you try to open it and the other one is the door with the 13 switches and i have tryed the fibbonochi sequence

There is a thread up at the top of this forum called Map of Dungeon. Very first post is a map. Check there to see what you have or havn't found.

If I am not mistaken, then behind the door is Cat. If you want to open them, you need a special key and high Lockpick skill.

but how do you open the door and the gate in front of it

Hi, Zoayer, you need lockpick greater than 75 and a little key that can be found in the extreme northeast of the dungeon in a pile of skulls. : ) I am mewing and waiting to be rescued! Hellllp!

just a question i was at a shop for spell books and the most expensive on was basal assault for 90k(i have low mercantile.I bought it to see how good it was, but it didnt seem that good. For you people with high attack magic is it that good?

Among other things, it has the effect of dropping the level of your opponent and cursing them, draining their hp and damaging them. I don't think increasing attack magic will make it stronger but not sure.

You have to go to the later expansions for that, starting with Asteroids. : )

BTW, we have to say "witches" here because of the children playing on ipod/iphone. : ) I hope you understand.

You have the power! You just need to enchant some gear with progressively higher levels of Environment Magic. Put on all your gear, then drink some fortify magic potions. I was able to enchant up to 2500 in HOL1.

It takes awhile to accumulate all the gear and you have to start small and work your way up. Eventually, you'll have a complete set of clothes with high Environment magic. Store your outfit in permanent storage and go put it on whenever you need to do some enchanting.

Hope my memory does not fail me here. But I think you can get a few ("slight" understatement ) "Rings of Enchantment" in HOL1, from some spiders in a dungeon to the far Northwest (Giant's Thumb, I think). And yeah, those spiders respawn after 7 days. The rings have a whopping 1500 enchant storage. Plus the Amulets with 750 storage from Eldfell (Islands of Ice+Fire, another expansion), and the Lava Robes (from Mithria, unless I have another memory lapse) which you can buy to your heart's content...
Enchant the rings and amulet with "Fortify Magic" as much as you can manage, the robe with Environment Magic, and you are good to go.
As others said, the trick is to work up your way if you cannot enchant them to maximum right away. Plus, there are a bunch of enchant trainers around, and money really should not be an issue

I am level 41 now, and today I cast Enchant spell first time (lol), and I saw that I can enchant items at 800 storage. Then I drinked forfity magic potions, and I had 1200 Enchant points. Not bad, because always I used 750 Enchant storage.

P.S. In HOL 4 there is 9000 enchant points 0_o

For the "fortify magic" potions:
Do the same as for Enchant. Make a set of Alchemy equipment to boost your Alchemy skill, brew some potions, drink them to boost your Enchant skill, then switch over to the Enchant set. At level 41, you should easily be able to enchant up to 3000 or more.

If you are playing the embedded game---not the standalone game---and you buy the expansions--you can play them all with your regular save file.

You cannot transfer a save file from one standalone game to another but you can if you are playing the embedded game.

If you don't know what I mean by embedded game--it means you have purchased Quest base game or the Quest Gold and then added expansions.

As I understand it you can transfer files if you are using 4.0 plus(on iPhone). But... and this is a big but, unless you have the base game already, then no transfers allowed. Think about it, it's all about restricting access to what you've paid for. In my view fair.
