Has anyone tried "We Rule"? It's a farming game, but set in the middle ages. I downloaded it a couple days ago. You get to build your own little kingdom. The graphics are great and I must say, it's quite addictive. If you play it, please add me - my name on there is glenndesigns.

Of course, nothing really compares to The Quest, but these are some others that I sometimes play while waiting for the next Quest expansion: Yipe, Chess (Chess.com app), Unblock Me, Kaeru Jump - just some time-killers.

I'll second The Impossible Quiz and The Moron Test, as well as Undercroft. In fact, on many RPG review sites, Undercroft and The Quest were highly applauded. Of course, The Quest was singled out as virtually rewriting the expectations of portable gaming.

This may be totally out in left field, but if any of you are parents of young children (think toddler) and can trust your kids with your iPod Touch or iPhone, Toddler Teasers can keep a kid occupied for HOURS. Seriously. Like coast-to-coast flight HOURS.

But you have to watch them because sometimes they accidentally hit the back button and then touch the screen, bringing up iPity. Not a game, but a rather amusing diversion. Especially as the movie's coming out soon. I'll bet all those who remember C64 will appreciate it ...

Another recommendation for Undercroft here. It helped make the wait for Asteroids a lot easier.

Has anyone tried Solomon's Keep?

I usually don't like top down rpg's that much but curious. : )

I've played solomons keep, it was good until I got constant crashes and it made the game unplayable

It's an oldie- but I just found Q*Bert! It's fun/annoying like Pac man always was!

I played through Solomon's Keep a few times. I can definitely recommend it, a nice game for some quick skeleton bashing. And it never crashed for me so far. Today the developer released an update, maybe that fixes your issues.

Apart from the Quest, I like Civilization Revolution (on iPhone and iPad). While less powerful than the pc version, the random map generator makes it a new game every time. At the highest level, it remains challenging and has high replayability value.

I just spent hours and hours playing a turn based fantasy strategy called "Highborn". Production value is quite high and it has some nice funny moments in it. Highly recommended!

I add my recommendation for Highborn to Evildonald's. The game is not too difficult, has some wonderfully oddball humour and a 2nd chapter is already announced.
For roundbased strategy games in the SF department I can recommend Rogue Planet (okay difficulty, good storyline but no groundbreaking one, nice graphics and sometimes a bit tedious when you have many units in the field).
And Neo Nectaris, but the difficulty level of this one raises rather steeply.
Oh, and also recommendations for Undercroft (lacks a bit of replay value for me, though) and Alice Freefall (really short with only 8 levels, but fun).
And Alice: not games, but there are some good and free (some even illustrated) incarnations of Reverend Dodgson's (aka Lewis Carroll) Alice in Wonderland books out there in the Appstore.

I liked Assassins' Creed but haven't played it on iphone/ipod/ipad.

A really nice app: (not a game)

called iteleport jaadu vnc. What it does is it lets you access your pc or mac from you iphone or ipad. You can edit documents go on the web and everything! its really good. Its a bit costly (£15) thats like 20 dollars of something but if you ever wish you could go on your computer when abroad this is good for you! it helpe me alot, as i can do everythign i would on my pcs on my iphone and ipad

you can use any software found on your computer. maybe you could create your quest editor expansions from your iphone, cat!
